Zachariah Joseph Palomo

October 5, 1995 ~ May 22, 2022 (age 26)

Zachariah Palomo, beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, uncle, cousin, and friend to many, was called home on May 22nd, 2022, at the age of 26. Born to Angie Gonzales and Joseph Palomo on October 5th, 1995, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Zachariah moved to Lincoln Nebraska with his family in 1997 where he graduated in 2013 from North Star High School. He is survived by both his parents, his sisters Gabrielle, Angjolice and brother Zayne Palomo. Zachariah was the most loving and dedicated uncle to his nephews Zuriel, Zeeno, Marino, and niece Geela.

Through both his dad's and close cousins' guidance, Zachariah picked up a love for boxing, which eventually led him to develop a passion for physical fitness and taking care of himself. Striving for a healthy lifestyle, he was presently employed at the Blue Moon Fitness where he brought joy to all members and staff. Here he had aspirations to become a personal trainer to ultimately do what he loved to do most, help build others up.

Those who had the privilege to know Zachariah, knew first hand how handsomely charming, funny and caring he was. He was the embodiment of respect, loyalty, and tenacious protectiveness of his loved ones.  He was selfless, witty, and never short of jokes and freestyles. Zachariah gave openly and loved passionately, demonstrating unconditional love to those he was close to.

To call Zachariah a fierce protector of his mother and siblings would be an understatement, nothing was more precious to him than family.  He was the best brother anyone could ask for. He shared a special relationship with his oldest sister Gabrielle as they were very close in age there was nothing he wouldn't do to ensure she was safe. He went through life with Gabrielle by his side at every corner. The trials and tribulations they endured together, created an unbreakable bond that will carry over from this life into the next.

His compassion would prove true as well when it came to protecting family and friends turned family. Zachariah had a heart too big for this world, too immense for others to not gravitate to him and a smile too striking to not steal hearts. The footprint he leaves behind on those who knew him is boundless, the impact of his transition from this life is substantial. He will forever be carried within the hearts of his immense family and friends, until we meet again our “Young Fine Mex”

Zachariah is preceded in death by his great grandparents Tanis and Catarino Gonzales, maternal grandmother Loida Gonzales, numerous great aunts and uncles, cousins Louis Gonzales, Alissa Magoon Gonzales and Dominique Camacho
