Aubriona Renee Lambert was born on December 4, 1989 and passed away on March 19, 2020. She grew up in the loving care of her mother, Sunny Lambert and with the ever-present support of her younger sister, Jennah Duncan. Her survivors on her mother's side include her beloved grandfather, Thomas Gould, her uncle Troy and aunt Jodi Gould, parents of her cousin Elli, her uncle Jason Gould and second cousins Angie Bryan, Douglas Jennings and Jennifer Jennings. Her survivors on her father's side include her father, Rodger Lambert Jr., siblings Collin Lambert and Liberty Jude Bixenmann, grandmother Velma Lambert and her uncles Jonathan and Matthew Lambert and their families.
Because of Aubri’s special needs, she received services from professional caregivers, two of whom stand out for how much they loved her and how much they were loved by her. These two members of Aubri’s family of the heart were Desa Ihde and Kayla Kelly. Aubri was also supported and surrounded by staff and friends at ILC including Randy, her special friend who lovingly sang to her and drew her pictures every Friday. Aubri also found a special bond with family pets and never forgot Jasper, Rudy and Jack.
Aubri was an innocent soul who was incapable of telling a lie or pretending to be other than who she was. Her wide, ever present smile matched her remarkable sense of humor that enabled her to say the funniest things, often without realizing the reason that they were so funny. Her authenticity and ability to experience wonder and joy in response to the world around her inspired those who knew her to higher levels of compassion and kindness. When Aubri left this world, she left a painful hole in the hearts of those who loved her deeply and who were changed for the better for having known her.
She was preceded in death by her loving grandmother, Jenny Gould, great-grandparents Lowell and Gerri Sellmeyer, great-grandmother Gladys Gould and grandfather Rodger Lambert Sr.
Aubri’s time on earth was tragically cut short and she will be deeply missed by so many whose lives she touched.
