Ana Maria Trentini

August 9, 1948 ~ March 4, 2022 (age 73)

Obituary

Ana Maria peacefully passed into her next journey on March 4, 2022, in her home surrounded by her loving family.

Ana Maria was born in Guatemala in 1948 and came to the United States when she was twelve. She became a naturalized citizen in 1974 and then dedicated her life to serving U.S. Veterans through the V.A.

Ana Maria loved her family. She also loved nature and enjoyed its beauty through traveling, camping, hiking, and photography. She was an avid pet lover and often included her pets on her adventures. She loved reading historical books and wrote poetry throughout her life.

Recently, she traveled with her husband to all four sides of the United States. Since she loved the ocean, they visited The Atlantic, Pacific, and Gulf of Mexico coasts. She is survived by her husband, Mason Ridlen, her daughters, Suzette (Robert) DeBusk, Dr. Ivette Trentini, her younger brother Jorge (Sue) Samayoa, and her grandchildren, Anthony (Shae) Campos, Andrew (Shelby) Campos, and Abriana Campos, many great children, and life-long friends.

In her next life, she joined her parents, two older sisters Emy Hernandez and Lucrecia Hoyt, her oldest grandson, Calvin Campos, and numerous beloved pets.

In honor of Ana, a celebration of life will be held on March 12, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Colonial Chapel located at 5200 R Street, Lincoln, NE 68504.

The family encourages celebratory attire: bright colors and hiking apparel welcome.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations made to the Capital Humane Society in Lincoln Nebraska.
