Wallace C. Harris, Jr., 47, was called home unexpectedly Wednesday, July, 29, 2020 at Bryan Medical Center West Campus, Lincoln, Nebraska.\nWallace was born March 9, 1973 , in Youngstown, the son of Wallace C. Harris, Sr. and Deborah Harris.\nHe graduated from The Rayen School, Class of 1991. He was a graduate of the New Castle School of Trades, earning a degree in welding. As a chef his accomplishments speak for themselves and offer undeniable testimony to his skills and passion. He found great joy in playing chess, fishing, having a good time, and satisfaction in sharing his cooking with others. As he has taken his final rest, find comfort and peace knowing he awaits the time when "all those in the memorial tombs will hear Jesus' voice and come out" - John 5:28.\nHe leaves to cherish his memory a daughter, Vanessa Harris; son, Logan Harris (Sophie); his parents, Wallace (Terri) Harris, Sr.; Deborah (Henry) Harris-Brown; sister, Aquarius Square; 2 nieces; fiance, Kaka Kuony of Lincoln; as well as a host of nieces and family and friends; a dear friend Joan.\nHe was preceded in death by his grandparents, Young and Hattie Harris, and Odell Bolling and Mary McIntosh; his aunt, whom he adored Dallas Harris; aunt, Dorothy White; uncle, Marshall Harris; stepmother, Mamie Pearson, who held a special place in his heart; and his best friends, Barrinton "Barry" Hickson, and Danny Jones.
