Tricia A. Herbel\nApril 20, 1972 ~ November 21, 2020\nTricia Baugher Herbel left us on November 21, 2020. Tricia was born on April 20, 1972, in Lincoln, Nebraska, the second daughter of Ted and Sherry Baugher. Tricia brought joy and creativity to the world, and some of her beauty still shines on all of us.\nTricia graduated with honors from College View Academy, class of 1990, and the Union College nursing program, class of 1994. Tricia married Brian Herbel on September 5, 1993, in Lincoln, Nebraska. The following year, after both graduating as nurses, they moved to Bakersfield, California, to pursue their careers. While there, they welcomed their first son, Benjamin Lee Herbel. In 1998 they returned to Nebraska to raise their children closer to family and start their home-building business, Spring Valley Homes. In 1999, they welcomed a second son, Elijah Paul Herbel, and in 2005 their family was complete with a daughter, LillyAnne MinJee Herbel. Tricia continued her career in nursing, both in education and administration. But, Tricia's passions were most evident in designing and decorating Spring Valley Homes, coordinating gatherings large and small, and working as a local florist. After her divorce, Tricia forged new friendships and found support in the AA community. Tricia's deepest love and pride throughout her life were her three children.\nTricia is survived by her children Ben Herbel, Elijah Herbel, and Lilly Herbel; former spouse and friend Brian Herbel; parents Ted and Sherry Baugher; sisters and brothers-in-law Amy and Jeff Deming and Sarah and Adam Wallingford; grandmother Mildred "Midge" McHenry; and many, many friends across the country.\nMemorials may be directed to her family for a later designation.\nA private family Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 27, 2020 at 10:00AM.
